8. Flett's fleabane, Erigeron flettii

I’ll let you know when it blooms as soon as I find one.
Found on talus and scree slopes, cracks in bedrock.

            This fleabane is said to be similar to the large-flower fleabane (Erigeron grandiflorus) but their ranges do not overlap.  The basal leaves of Flett’s fleabane have stalks equal to or longer than the blades.  Has consistently white ray flowets numbering 25 to 40.  Moderately spreading-hairy (not woolly) involucral bracts (Pojar and MacKinnon, 2013) (Sure, I’ll get right on that).
